Thursday, April 25th 6-9pm: Visiting Winemaker Dani Rozman of La Onda in CA
After tasting Dani’s wines in Oakland at Brumaire, we were immediately taken with the transparency, texture, and energy of what he’s doing. We’re thrilled to have him swing by the bar to pour a few of his wines for you. There is so much to be excited about in Californian wine right now, and La Onda is no exception. Minuscule production and a rare opportunity to taste what Dani is up to in the Sierra Foothills. No tickets, just drop in.

Friday, April 26th, 7-11pm: Spanish Bubbly Party
We recently ordered some very special Spanish sparkling wines (read: exclusives to Bar Norman), and we’re going to pop ‘em all, along with some other favorites, for you to drink. We’ll have the porron ready for those who want to dance on the bar and pour wine from up high, and we’ve got a great line up of tinned fish from San Sebastian, Spain (think squid, sardines, little clams, and octopus) as well as other pintxos on the bar. No tickets, just drop in.

Sunday, April 28th, 12pm: Wine Time with Winegrowers Mimi Casteel & Jess Miller
Join Bar Norman’s own Molly Hodson as she leads an afternoon discussion with two of our favorite growers and winemakers, Jess Miller of Little Crow Viticulture and Mimi Casteel of Hope Well Wine. Informal Q & A and tasting open to anyone and everyone. Know some things about wine? Like wine and want to know more? Into a great Sunday get-together with new friends? Come join us. No tickets, just drop in.

Monday, April 29th 7-10pm: ALL-PURPOSE Launch Party
We could not be more excited to host our pals, ALL-PURPOSE, as they launch their new dinner party pop-up. After months of planning, friends & family dinners, and lots of wine drinking, the A-P crew is making it all official. Stop in for small plates, bar snacks, A-P wine picks, and cookies (yes, they also bake cookies!) and get a peek of what’s to come for this talented crew. No tickets, just drop in.

Friday, May 3rd 6-9pm: Gamay Party with Bow & Arrow and Sadness & Gamay
We love gamay. If there’s a more versatile, quaffable, affordable red wine in the world, we don’t wanna know about it. Portland’s annual I Love Gamay festival is back for its third installment May 3-6, and in celebration we’re starting the weekend off with some guest winemakers who are obsessed with the grape. Wines by the glass or as a flight, and retail bottles, too. We’ll also be pouring an around-the-world gamay flight all week. No tickets, just drop in.

Monday, May 20th 5-8pm: Wine Club Throw Down
Take note:
Our monthly wine club Throw Down won’t be the first Monday of the month in May, but instead on the 20th. Club members, come pick up your wines, taste through this month’s selections, stay for some snacks or a glass. Not in the wine club? No problem. $15 to taste six wines, and if you sign up for the club while you’re here, we’ll waive the tasting fee.
